A cashflow forecast isn’t the same as a budget. A budget shows you expenses and how much you’re trying to save. A simplified cashflow forecast allows you to take your inflows (income), and outflows (expenses), and chart them over a number of weeks- showing you exactly if/when you’ll run into trouble. This can sometimes be helpful so you can avoid surprises.
