I have a love hate relationship with the word ‘discipline’. .
.
People who know me would say I am very disciplined. My hubby who knows me best might disagree. Lol. He’s seen me tear through a pint of ice cream, decimate an entire big bag of peanut m&ms or Cadbury eggs. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel when we promote discipline, more times than not, it doesn’t empower those we are trying to reach. Because a lot of people think they either have it or they do not. .
.
Discipline is nothing more than consistency. And at its inception consistency could just be a matter of redirecting your mindset back to one of health and fitness. .
.
It may not be 5-6 days a week in the gym. Maybe when you look back, it just meant that the whole year heath and fitness was your focus and MOST of the time you did your best to get in the gym and eat clean. .
. 
THIS IS OK!!!

Take the first steps. Workout and eat healthy. As you get better at it then start to focus on doing it more often than not. .

When I first started #crossfit my goal was to go 2 days a week!!

We all gotta crawl before we can walk. Start - Celebrate each and every win - Repeat! Eventually the days off become farther and fewer in between. And that’s how you become ‘disciplined’!
