Flight ended early due to a amp meter failure in flight. Without being able to monitor the amps being produced by the alternator to show if it’s working or if my electrical system is simply running on battery reserve until it’s used up, it was a small emergency situation. A radio call to ATC was made while I still had battery power to run my avionics and they were informed of the situation, in return they cleared me to land twelve miles out in case of radio and electrical failure! #pilotlifestyle #aviaton #generalaviation #mariettaohio
