This past weekend I had the gift of a weekend away in Asheville, NC, off the grid. It is amazing what time away in an incredible location and off the grid can do for the soul. I stayed in a zen like cabin by a creek that I could hear at night through the bedroom window. I had the opportunity to connect with two amazingly beautiful spirits during my time that allowed me to connect deeply with them and with myself. Here’s a list of a few of my takeaways: ✨Spending time in pure silence in and amidst nature is gold. It rejuvenates like no other.
✨Listening deeply to someone else and having them listen deeply to you is one of the greatest blessings in life.
✨I long for these types of interactions every day. They fuel me. It is where I feel most alive. ✨One of my favorite forms of play is this type of connecting so I’m planning to do more of it. I want my work to feel like play so this will be involved;)
✨This business of surrender I have been involved with is now starting to reveal its purpose and it has to do with deep connection, bravely showing up with others and play.
