You guys! I can finally post about a commission that was just revealed to the customer on Sunday! A little backstory....I work in a Coastal Boutique (@sunshinesweetpeas ) a few days a week that specializes in representing a ton of local artists. Deanna, a long time customer had been eyeing my art and really wanted me to do a table for her. Her hubby came in and commissioned me to surprise her with a certificate to unwrap on Christmas Day that she was getting both tables (the small one I had already finished) and would be able to work with me to have the big one made to her vision. She was so stoked to find out that the tables would be hers. After some consulting and time, her tables were finished and brought to the shop for her to come see. She loved the tables so much, that she cried. I am over the moon happy and honored that they trusted me with such a big commission. —————————————The big table has two sea turtle hatchlings, a big sea turtle, a school of fish and two dolphins. Because she didn’t like the weave pattern that was on the side, she had me fill it with resin. Both pieces have glass on top in order to further protect the resins longevity. ———————————————
