Excuses!
We all have them.
We all know them.
We all have used them one way or another to justify not doing something.

Hey! I’m with you 🙋🏻‍♀️. I’ve been there too! But excuses are what keep us from getting /accomplishing what we want. When we don’t succeed, it create a vicious cycle of learned helplessness. “But I can’t do it!”. “I’m not like them/him/her”. “This would never work for me!”. Sounds familiar?

So, I’m happy to introduce to you today’s fitness myth: “Exercise makes you more tired”.

No, exercise does not cause tiredness. While certainly overtraining is not wise, the average person rarely “overtrains”. In today’s day and age, we suffer from under-movement! Constantly sitting at our desks, on the phone, or watching TV. .
Contrary to old belief, exercise actually IMPROVES your energy levels. As you become more efficient at utilizing energy, meaning you’re creating better cardiovascular endurance for yourself, improving your lungs capacity, lose weight, and building more muscle (which supports your skeleton!), your body becomes a more efficient machine.

Not only that but SLEEP is improved when you exercise, its deeper and sounder, so you have more energy levels the following day.
