This is our grandson telling us a story with great excitement how water went in his mouth. It brought to mind one of my favourite quotes by Catherine W Wallace. “Listen earnestly to anything children tell you, no matter what. If you don’t listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won’t tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff”. I believe it served me well as a parent and it will again for the next generation.
