Everyone wants to be exalted. Whether that be glorified, getting the respect we “deserve”, getting what we want. No matter who you are, at some point in your life whether you think it or say it, want credit. God asks us to stop, he asks us to stop going after those things. He tells us to trust that he will give us credit at the right time without us having to go after the glory ourselves. We are not the main characters of our lives. God is. This is Gods story not ours so we must have humility. God promises to make it about us when he deems fit. We must live with humility cause that’s how Jesus lived. Jesus trusted in God even when it lead him to death and in return God lifted him to the highest place giving him the name above all names. #jesus #trustingod #humility
