It took me 5 minutes to cook these lentils in my Incredible Instant Pot. Really instant, right? ⁣
⁣
Pre-soaked yellow split lentils, aka moong dahl:essentially split, huskless moong beans⁣
Cooking time is 10 mins if you don’t pre-soak, but it’s really important & beneficial to do so. Read my other post from today to find out why. ⁣

🟣Spices added to hot sunflower oil or ghee (clarified butter) for the tempering/chaunce⁣

Cinnamon Stick ⁣
Cloves ⁣
Jeera seeds ⁣
Mustard seeds ⁣
Turmeric⁣
Asafoetida⁣
And a li’l coriander-jeera powder ⁣
⁣
🟣Freshly grated ginger ⁣
🟣Salt ⁣
⁣
🟣After cooking, add a squeeze of lime, freshly ground black pepper & olive oil-healthy fat!⁣
