Tomorrow may just be another Tuesday for some but for me it’s a day that will stay with me forever as I say a final goodbye to Oliver.

I’m sad that I’ll never get to see you in your first car. I’ll never get to embarrass you when you bring round your first girlfriend. I’ll never get to congratulate you when you get your first job and tell you “I told you so” when you moan you have no money.
It’s sad I’ll never get to take you down the pub for the first time and buy you your first drink.
Watching you grow, achieve and mature into a man was my biggest hobby and it’s sad that the book of your life has been published so soon. -

I used to think things happened for a reason but now I believe it’s not reason but meaning. You being up there means you can care for more than just your mum holly and I.
