I found this picture in a book years ago. It says a lot w/o saying anything. .
A young bricklayer from the 1920’s, holding 100+ lbs of bricks 🧱 on a board across his shoulders. .
His work entails strain, power and a hell of a lot of sweat, but he is not complaining. His look gives a sense of pride & dignity, he’s standing tall showing he’ll never let the weight on his shoulders win. .
I’m sure there were times when he wanted to quit, but he fought those feeling and came out better for it. .
In business, you get days when you question yourself and feel like you have a 100lbs of bricks 🧱 weighing you down. Having been in so many ventures in business & real estate over the years, I know I have. You will want to stop, but, from my experience, just when you’re about to quit, your goal is right around the corner. .
Work hard 💪, be proud, never give up, never give in. No matter how hard it gets, keep pushing, keep your head up, and never let them see you sweat.
