Project Burberry is underway. Purchased a $50 Burberry messenger that was trashed. Ripped lining, holes, broken strap, cracks in the leather, stained and plastic coating peeling off. Step 1, wash out the entire bag. Step 2, peeling off plastic coating helped get some of the discoloration and stains off of the front. Step 3, condition the leather so it doesn’t dry out. Step 4, leather repair kit for the corners and the cracked bits of leather. Step 5, cut up a different purse to scavenge some matching leather to reinforce the base of the straps. Long haul project.
