🎆Here we go! The first Magical Monday of the decade!🎆 It’s 2020, so I thought we should start with something a little futuristic - like Space Mountain in Tomorrowland!
Did you know Space Mountain was pretty ahead of its time? It was actually the first roller coaster controlled by a computer! Imagineers used computers to design the path for each track - they felt it would make the ride feel much more like an actual flight! It was designed in the early 1960s. That’s more than 10 years before the technology was invented to make their designs a reality! When the world finally caught up to the imagination of the incredible people at Disney, the ride finally debuted in January of 1975!
