Well it’s been a long time coming and in the works but I finally made it back here to Ohio where my grandpa had several trees cut down on his property this early fall and saved two parts of trunks for me.
One Norwegian maple and one red oak I believe the second is! I also cut down the old apple tree because vines had grown up and choked it out. Unfortunately I only got a few small pieces of it salvaged because ant both ants had gotten to it and it had already rotten out mostly.
These trees are special to me, I grew up going to my grandparents every weekend almost and being around these trees and climbing in them.
I can’t wait to turn them into something beautiful and something to keep in the family as well!
