Farewell 2019! I can hardly believe tomorrow begins a new decade. A DECADE! So much has happened in ten years! I was 24 in 2010 so this decade was the first in which I was an adult from start to finish - I graduated with my MA, lived on my own, met my now husband @paulmasella (our tenth anniversary is in August), moved in with him, got my first real job, left said job + achieved my dream of working @themuseumofmodernart (for five years), supported myself entirely for the first time, got engaged, married, went back to school, changed careers, started my own business, bought a house, left the city after almost 15 years, had a baby, overcame PPD, scaled back on work (for the time being) to focus on being a mom, completely changed my lifestyle and now here I am on the brink of 2020 the happiest, healthiest, and most grateful for all that these ten years have taught me about myself, others, life in general + everything in between. I’m a much stronger person than I was when this decade started (both mentally and physically). I have a strong sense of who I am, what fuels my soul, and what is important to me, my happiness, and now that of my family, than I did at 24. My dreams literally came true over these ten years. I fell in love with an incredible man and together we created our single greatest achievement - Henry. I can’t wait to see how he grows over the next decade. In 2030 he’ll be 11 and a half! I can’t even imagine him a tween at this point but I will enjoy every second of our journey there. Happy new year to you all! Wishing you all happiness, health + growth over this next year + decade to come | 📸: @livtiernanphotography
