The view from above
A flashback to my superb month-long excursion to British Columbia in August, and a ride up to the Vancouver Lookout, a skyscraper in the downtown core. In the distance in the upper left, is the Lions Gate Bridge spanning the harbour entrance. Across the bay, the twinkling lights on the mountain peak, is the Grouse Mountain lookout.
In the middle right, are the famous "sails" of the Canada Place cruise ship terminal, from which passenger vessels depart to Alaska and points south. Bottom left is the Sinclair Centre.
The Vancouver lookpout is a great place to see the downtown core, with a revolving reastarant serving a very tasty and fullfilling Sunday brunch!
