“Baby Baboon Bonanza” Happy World Monkey Day! (1 of 3)
At streams edge, the troop was in full-force of their daily antics. Babes and their mums, juveniles, and adults. The younger set content with filling their days by running around. Even a young duo, engaged in a feisty toe-to-toe banter. Taunting and prodding as they scurry about.
They appeared to be playing, until one inquisitive youngster pushed a bit too far and they all went beserk and started chasing each other. Always keeping eye on who might be lurking above and behind them.
These olive baboons (Papio anubis) appeared to settle a disagreement by fighting. Before the before the matriarch baboon plays referee and steps in to break it up.
