All my life I’ve been too...
Too loud, too hard, too skinny, too big, too brash, too impulsive, too distracted, too defiant, too forgiving, too bull headed, too shy, too boyish, too sarcastic, too flirty, too isolated, too outspoken, too picky, too cold... .
Ironic isn’t it? At some point, whatever i was, i bent myself to become what someone wanted... and it still wasn’t right! I’ve wanted to scream on several occasions and pull my hair and ask WTFF DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?! .

Over the past three years I’ve let a lot of walls down, and with that, I’ve learned that the people that pointed these things out, weren’t my people. .

My people see what i am and acknowledge that’s me. My characteristics. My “daddy taught me that already” know it all moments. My “i can’t do this without you” moments. My all or nothing mentality on love. My sometimes harsh, always loud, and without a doubt awkward moments. My need for solitude, my urge to go out and let loose. My quiet and my loud. My hard and my soft. Because i cannot have one without the other. There’s a moment for both. That’s just me. .

Learn to embrace every part of what makes you the person you are. Stop having a war in your own head because someone tells you to fit in their idealistic box. Nothing good will come of it. Your people will love you for everything you are... even the parts that drive them a little crazy. .
