5x5 hug challenge still underway. 
Five 5-minute-long hugs a day. 
5 minutes is a long time. 
I’ve been setting the timer for them. 
Convo from hug #1 today:
L: “Are you bored yet?”
R: “Nope”
L: “How about now?  Bored yet?”
R: “Nope”
Settling in... deep breaths... switching neck sides... L: “Hey, it’s already 4 minutes... almost done.” R: “I’m gonna miss this.” L: “Sweetie we have 4 more of these today.” R: “Good.” :

Yeah, Rene has a really big hug capacity! 
We talked about it more after we were done with #3 today and both agree that 5 minutes is pretty awesome.  Rene said, “It takes the whole first minute just to feel your own body and land in the hug.  Then the second minute you notice the other person’s body.  Then for 3 minutes it’s like meditation.  And the last minute you’re thinking, I could do this more...just like meditation, you resist it, then you start and your body really likes it.”
