Shirley Eaton spent two hours in makeup to play Bond’s Golden Girl. They kept a doctor on set, just in case. After filming she was scrubbed down by the wardrobe mistress and make-up girl because they had used gold paint to achieve the infamous look. She sweat off the remaining gold in Turkish baths.
