It has taken me 2 years to gain back 27 pounds out of the 33 pounds I lost because of cancer. 2 years ago, I was still going through Chemo and still had no idea when or if I would ever be cancer free...especially because I was terminal. •
2 years have passed since the picture on the left and so much has changed. I’m now 26 years old. My hair has grown to about my shoulders. My legs, arms, booty, stomach, back and everything else has started to fill back out. My skin doesn’t have a greyish tint anymore. Im up 27lbs and still have about 6 more to go to get back to my pre-cancer weight. And the most exciting part, I’m a year off Chemo and in November, I’ll be 2 years of NED (no evidence of disease). I beat a terminal cancer🦋

Life is a beautiful struggle...it may take you 2 years to get where you want to be and it may take a million baby steps, but those baby steps will get you to your destination; it may just take a little bit longer. Keep going and never stop believing in yourself🦋 •
