ight y’all imma be honest. i respect mama and the fact that these artists care so much about this award show, but for me it’s just a popularity contest & most times the people that i feel deserve to win, don’t. its unfair that the same 3 groups snatch up all of the awards every year & other artists don’t even get the chance. no tea, no shade to any one i promise. its just exhausting voting & voting & voting and ultimately getting the same outcome/never seeing a change. i’m not trying to discourage anyone from voting, you should! but i personally have decided to sit this one out. i’m just going to appreciate my faves artistry and enjoy their content. i don’t need an award to validate why i stan who i stan.
