How I look when I see the waiter bringing my food to the table 😏

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
Sooo my hashtags aren’t working at the moment, which means this post will only get seen by (some of the) people who already follow me, which seems like as good a time as any to give you all a quick update on what I’ve been up to lately πŸ‘‡
β €
I’m building my health coaching website! πŸ˜…πŸ™ˆ Last month I got profesh pics taken by @photobyfifi (πŸ™Œ) to jump-start my transition from personal trainer to holistic health coach and have since been working on designing my website + filling it with useful health info. Since completing my nutrition consultant certification, I feel like I’ve been overflowing with knowledge and finally have a way to deliver it cohesively and comprehensively all in one place. The site will serve not only as a gateway to my 1:1 services, but also a central hub of (FREE!) information on all things plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine. As someone who spent 2/3 of my life prioritizing writing, the idea of having an outlet again is exhilarating. But it’s A LOT of information to distill into bite-size, digestible, trustworthy content and I am also a GD perfectionist, so it’s still in progress. Anyway, it’s linked above and there is a sign-up if you want to know when it goes live.
β €
I’m also going to be changing my IG handle to the Colorful Coach soon, just so you have a heads up on that! I’m not sure if my content here will be changing much, except maybe to add in more informational posts, but hopefully you’ll stick with me throughout.
β €
My main objective with all of this is help people take action for their own wellness. 45% of Americans β€” 133+ million people β€” live with at least one chronic condition and the vast majority of the diseases we suffer and die from are PREVENTABLE through nutrition and lifestyle modification. That fact keeps me up at night. Our health tends to be something we only think about when it is impaired, but I’m really passionate about educating and empowering people to take practical steps toward better health, even (especially!) as a means of prevention.

Mmkay thanks for getting through all that 😊 See ya next time
