Green juice! My new obsession. I used to HATE the idea and the taste but once I learned a few tricks and found the right juicer, I have made it my weekday (and sometimes weekend) routine!
Through research, I have learned that drinking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach is the best way to maximize benefits and digestion. My favorite recipe for a one serving juice (pictured): one bunch celery, one large cucumber, 1/2 green apple, 1/4 lemon, and a wedge of ginger. It’s delicious, nutritious, debloating, detoxifying after the weekend, and gives me great energy! I personally feel full after I drink this until a mid morning snack but many people need a breakfast after (wait 30 mins). My juicer of choice is $$$, but has minimal parts to clean and is considered a “slow juicer” (though it only takes 3 mins to make my juice). This means that more of the skin and nutrients come through in the juice (a bit more pulpy)- this might be why it’s so filling for me. However, there are lots of affordable options on the market as well. I will like my juicer in bio. Check it out and enjoy! DM if you have questions or want links to other juicers I have heard are great.
