In bodybuilding there is no perfect. It is those that live as close to perfect day after day that make the shocking progress. This is in regards to: consistent nutrient requirements, training intensity, daily sleep, water intake, digestive health, physical health and recovery, rep perfection, cortisol control, and metabolism and insulin sensitivity.
.
All in every days work for a top level bodybuilder 🔥
.
So next is finding a balance between living a happy life and perfecting these various elements. For me I have found that being 80-85% perfect is my sweet spot where I dont hate my life but still progress.
.
Could I have progressed more over the years? YES!
.
But would I have enjoyed my life as much if I had been more dedicated? NO!
.
WE ALL HAVE TO FIND OUR BALANCE! 👌
.
Genetics were not on my side but I am still amazed at the strides I have made in this sport.
.
If you had told the 120lb me at age 19 that one day I would be working to go pro as a bodybuilder I would have laughed in your face.
.
But those that know me today know that that will one day happen 💪🔥🙌
