❤️ I just love everything about Autumn ... pine cones; foraging in hedgerows; dark mornings and evenings; wearing jumpers, scarves and gloves; the colours of the season; decorating the house after the brightness of summer and of course, not forgetting the mists and mellow fruitfulness! I was just flicking through Country Homes & Interiors calendar and saw a lovely idea for candle holders, just hollow an apple out and put a tea light inside. How lovely would they look lined up on an old wooden windowsill, twinkling out? Mine look much more rustic than CH&I’s; I might have to practise a bit 😊 xxx
