Just outside Tauranga we found McLaren Falls and park. The sun of the day before was gone and it was raining but the falls are still beautiful. Cascading down the smooth rocks. We didn’t walk the rocks this day because of the rain but would be so good on a fine day. There are lots of Little Rock pools dotted all along the river and natural round holes in the rocks are really interesting. The flow of water can rise here after rain so be careful. .
