“Ever since I was little my family has always spent the summers in the Adirondack mountains in upstate NY. As a family, we have set our goal to hike all 46 mountains over 4,000 feet in the high peak region. So far, we have successfully summited 40 peaks as a family and are hoping to finish the last 6 in the next two summers. The hikes range from 10-12 hours but are always worth it in the end, there is no place I’d rather be during the summer” -Lizzy Rueppel
