3 years. That’s how long I’ve been blessed to be at home with this little heart, and I’m grateful for every single one of those days... even though they were 𝙛𝙖𝙧 from all being beautiful.
It is a both an enormous privilege and 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 to raise a human, and this parenting gig has been my most difficult role in life so far 𝙗𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙧.
But today... today I feel 𝙛𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮 from all those trying days. Today I feel proud, confident and ready. Sure, I held back tears this morning as I waved goodbye from the driveway (send him with the parent who has an easier time separating, they say 😂 not it!) but really if you ask me how I’m feeling today - it’s excited. Because deep in my heart I know how hard we’ve worked for this day, and I know that we’re truly ready.
Preschool here we come!
