PSA: Recently people have been aggressively asking me what’s between my legs. It’s not that trans individuals don’t want to share their past and/or where we came from but, like most people, we want respect and privacy. I struggle to understand how it helps build a relationship with someone or event how it helps understand more about a person. What’s between my legs is none of your business. Try asking questions like; where did you grow up, what kind of music do you like, or even what’s my favorite color. And stay away from the questions having anything to do with trans people’s genitals, or anyone’s genitals for that matter. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
