He is my reason, not my excuse.
I want to be able to keep up with Cedar. I want to be his best buddy who plays outside with him A L L day long. I want to be his wrestling partner if dads not around. I want to be his adventure side kick who is always down to explore.
In order to do this, and so much more - I have to take care of my health , in E V E R Y single way. Mentally, physically, and spiritually.
I study the Bible because I want to make sure my heart is aligned with my Father. I do personal development so I can be a better servant. I stay active and try to make good choices to honor the body God has given me.
It isn’t selfish to take the time to pour into myself - I do it so my family and everyone else around me can live in the
O V E R F L O W. I don’t want those closest to me getting my scraps, I want to be my best FOR them and TO them.
Can you relate? If so drop an emoji so I know I’m not alone! 🙌🏻
