I’ve just completed an overhaul project on this 10 year old, late 2009 MacBook.
Thanks to DosDude1 and his Patcher Tool it now runs the latest macOS, Mojave.
Thanks to some information from MacTracker it now also runs 8GB of RAM, twice the amount officially supported by Apple.
I also replaced the ancient mechanical drive with a brand new 120GB Solid State Drive.
All nicely held together with a new shell and keyboard cover.
