Studying for my I.T certificate isnt always mind numbing, as basically any type of computer troubleshooting could be considered "studying". The other day i learned how to make a TAILS usb stick. It is kind of like turning a usb drive into a hidden miniature pc. You can plug it into any internet connected computer. in most cases, the pc does not recognize the device has even been plugged in, but when you hit a secret combo of keys on your keyboard, the thumb drive activates, with its own set of (legal) programs installed to protect your identity and leave no trace
The appeal to this device is that every time the USB is ejected, all memory from that session is erased. This means that every time you restart the thumb drive, its like the first time you have used it. Like those msgs in mission impossible that blow up after tom cruise reads them.
Ppl like Edward Snowden and North Korean journalists use these thumb drives to evade their oppressive governments.
