LET YOUR BODY REST! -
This past weekend I went home to visit my family since I moved into college a few weeks ago and I didn’t go to the gym. I took some well deserved family time and I didn’t worry about getting my lifts in for a couple of days. Rather than worrying about losing progress, I just spent time with my family and had a killer full body workout once I got back to campus.
Taking a couple of days off here and there will do NOTHING to jeopardize your progress. If anything, it will give your body more time to recover and make your next workout even better! 
Bottom line, put your life first before getting a lift in. If it’s between getting 2 hours to go to the gym or spending time with your family, take the day off from the gym and spend the time to make those memories! -
