Interesting fact: during the early 1600s, 10 tulip bulbs were the same price of a house in Amsterdam. There were people who sold their properties to buy a bunch of these bulbs during this period, and some of them had accumulated debts by 1637 because of the tulip craze (the market for tulips crashed because of exorbitant prices in February 1637.) What was the root cause behind tulip mania? How could it have been prevented?🌷
