🥺 Did last week kick anyone’s ass too? I feel like I kept getting (emotionally) punched in the face.
For most of my life, I used bad days as ammunition against myself — as proof I’m not smart enough, capable enough or good enough for love. But I know how to process it now.
Here’s what you do: Feel the frustration, the fear, the stress, the annoyance, the disappointment. Feel it fully without guilt. Then let it fucking go.
Because at the end of your life, you’ll miss even the shittiest days. You’ll wish you felt your feelings without shame + focused on appreciating the health or mobility you had. You’ll look back with nostalgia at how young you were + regret being so hard on yourself.
