Here in South Fl we have been getting ready & watching out for #hurricanedorian 🌧 so to keep the kids entertained while the “grownups” were working on the safety of the house 🏡 we decided to make a SWEET TREAT for everyone 💗 We wanted something yummy but healthy at the same time so we made UNICORN BAKED DONUTS 🦄 🍩 🥰 Found the recipe at @kingarthurflour website (shared in our profile) but we did a little twist in the recipe with the decor since the kids wanted fun colors, so we did a Marshmallow flavored glaze with pretty unicorn colors 😋 (To make it you only need: confectioners sugar, milk, marsmallow flavor & food coloring ~ put 1 cup of the confectioners sugar in a bowl and add like a tablespoon of milk and mix, add a little more of milk as needed until you see a thick but creamy mix, then you can separate in diff cups 1 per color you want to use and add to each container and mix, then in a big bowl add each colored glazed next to each other without mixing and dip your donuts and twist! 🍩 Voila! pretty donuts that you can finish with sprinkles if you wish, or use any candy you want to decorate ~ We took some marsmallows from @luckycharms cereal and add it to our sweet goods 💗☺️). 🌈 Put something sweet to your day and keep the kids busy & happy with this easy but yummy recipe! 🍩 (Last Min Tip: we didn’t have donut molds so we used cupcake and mini cake molds and we put a decorating tip in the middle of each mold & it worked 😃)
