Unfortunately, because of the increased speed of this storm, the forecast track of it has slightly moved westward. As more information becomes available throughout the day, we may see that track shift more westward. Anyone in its path should be preparing today. No one is off the hook yet.
A Hurricane Watch has been issued for the east coast of Florida from north of Deerfield Beach to the Volusia/Brevard County Line.
Storm surge is expected to reach levels of 18-23 feet for parts of the Bahamas.
This is going to be devastating, especially for the northern Bahamas.
