What’s in your shake?

Shakes are the craze these days.... I get it we are busy and want something quick .... and we want to be healthy and feel good.
.
In my past posts I have talked about ingredients.. and here I am again lol .
Many of my clients I work with are using some sort of protein shake to replace a meal when they first come to me. We run through the label together and most of the time... they eliminate that aspect.

However many of the shakes out there that are labeled Healthy... aren’t so much.
.
If you love shakes too, please read the ingredients. Many are filled with things that cause issues in the body. .
Let’s run through ingredients to avoid: ❌ diary based - shown to cause gut issues and other reactions such as causing inflammation ❌not organic - means it can contain herbicides /pesticides which is linked to gut issues ❌sugar - of any form - causes inflammation and other issues ❌natural flavors- nothing is natural about it... up to 100 chemicals make it up ❌Additives/Gums/thickeners- linked to gut issues like bloating, diarrhea and or gas

Anything that cause cause issues with the gut, can really effect your health and wellness.

Opt for making your own... you can prep the ingredients in advance and then just throw in blender and enjoy a real healthy shake/smoothie ❤️
