Visited King’s BBQ in Petersburg today and got a chance to take a before and after photo of Fort Davis. This unattributed image captioned "Fortification - Petersburg?," is of Fort Davis, taken from the southeast angle of the fort looking north. Jerusalem Plank Road passes by the two structures at the right. The bridge spans the ditch at the sally port. It is truly sad to see cities and modern buildings dominating where once great battle were fought.
