The tarantula that started it all for me...Avicularia avicularia (Pinktoe). A true, arboreal BEAUTY. I love all my tarantulas, but Avicularia have a special place in my heart due to being less hardy than other species. Their vitality is remarkable when living in their ideal environment. I accomplish the next best thing to nature by creating a bioactive terrarium with plenty of vertical space to stretch their gorgeous legs.
