When we loaded up and headed to Redding, California for the weekend, we didn’t really know what to expect. We had done our research and had a list of outdoorsy things to see and do, but coming from Tahoe, I didn’t know how anything could possibly compare to our own back yard. But from the countless waterfalls and gorgeous lakes, to the dog-friendly restaurants, hotels, and trendy coffee shops, Redding really surprised us. While we arrived unsure of what we would find, we left Redding with a huge appreciation for an undiscovered gem of a city with unlimited access to nature and outdoor adventure.
