When Aria was born I never thought I’d love anyone as much as I could love her (in a way parents do with their children) and I had this continuous worry whilst pregnant with Alba that I wouldn’t have enough room to love her as much as my first born, but by God it’s amazing how much love can spread. This girl has brought so much extra joy into my life. It isn’t joy that I was missing from Aria, but it’s a bonus. It’s always a bonus. Every day with them is a blessing, and I’m so lucky to have such wonderful children. Never doubt a mother’s love, even if it’s you doubting yourself. The second you hold your baby — whether it’s your first, third, or even fifth (and so on) — your love for them in unconditional, and overwhelming. Alba, I love you so. 🌻 However right now I’m having a baby free hour at the local laundrette drying two weeks worth of washing because of how temperamental the weather has been! With two babies under 2, we can’t afford to wait weeks before we can do washing again. So, something for the first time in my life, I’ve found a local laundrette and I’m drying clothes. This is it. This is me in my prime. I’m about to hit 25, my head is back into the swing of novel planning and writing, and I’m making sure the mountain of washing it dealt with.
