We rescued this sweet, sweet mama from the shelter on July 23rd. She had five babies, all of them were emaciated and sick to their core with their eyes glued shut and noses covered in funk - they were open mouth breathing and the shelter was going to euthanize! We have been boarding them at the vet for the past few weeks (with a bill of over $1,000!) and now they are good as new and ready to go to a foster! Unfortunately three of the babies were so far gone, even with hourly care and a vet tech with them 24/7 they did not survive - we did everything we could. The remaining two babies and mama have really bounced back and are doing amazing now! They deserve better than being trapped in a metal cage 24/7 - they deserve a foster home and going to adoptions to find their forever humans!
