Some of you may be aware of a wee game of rugby scheduled for this Sunday. Some of you may also be familiar with the name Ruaridh McConnochie and the fact that this Sunday is his first England 1XV cap!! For those of you who don’t, Ruaridh currently plays for Bath’s 1XV. He was also part of the silver medal winning men’s sevens team during the 2016 Olympics. More notably he is a Crane! He started his rugby life with Cranbrooks Minis and progressed to the juniors and Colts.
This Sunday will be Ruaridh’s first England 1XV cap and he will be competing for a position with the World Cup Squad for Japan.
The club will be open from 1300hrs and we will be showing the game live from 1400hrs. You are invited to join Steen, and David to cheer Ruaridh on, along with his very first rugby coach, Peter Jovanovic!
