Took my parents to the last day of the @hawaiitattooexpo. This was their first time going to a tattoo convention. In this photo with my parents and I is my good friend of 28 years, Akiu Sale or "Q" @polynesianworks. In high school Akiu tattooed a (Kauvae) ankle band on my mom. Akiu and I tattooed each other as beginning teenage tattoo artists in American Samoa. #Q is like a nephew to my parents. Glad that my parents saw us tattooing as kids in #Samoa and are here today to see what #Tattooing has done for us. Thank you God, Thank you mom and dad, thank you Tattoo World, and Thank you to Akiu for being a life long friend of mine. Love you mom and Dad. I say these things in Jesus name. Amen
