I do not need a falling star to make a wish. A passing by plane will do just fine.
All that throwing coins into fountains, waiting for the clock to strike midnight and other seemingly magical things, in my opinion, aren’t an important part of making a wish. Forming it clearly inside one’s mind is helpful, but not really important, either.
What really matters is letting go.
All my wishes that went real only did so when I forgot all about them. I grew them inside my heart, formed them with my mind and then set them free into the world, letting them wander on their own. Only then did something come out of it. And it was always unexpected, like a thunderbolt straight out of clear sky in a peaceful sunny day. By the time my wishes became a pieces of reality instead of figments of imagination, I forgot them completely.
The world of paradoxes, huh?
I think that’s witty, you know. In a sense that if you want to get something, be ready to give something first. Give without any expectations or even hope. Without mastering a complicated plan or calculating every step. Just give on the spur of the moment. Let it go and let things wander on their own.
Let the world surprise you.⚡️
