👰🏼16th Anniversary🤵🏼 Just a few years ago I would have never expected this adventure to happen. I thought our marriage was through. I was sleeping on a different floor of the house and words were rarely exchanged. We were about to join the 41% of first marriages that ended in divorce. That was until we had Divine intervention from our Lord above and one black book called Oola that helped us grow back together and find the balance in our lives that at one time was lost. Our amazing adventure through @puremichigan was incredible. Because of some principles and tools that we have gained from these two totally awesome @oolalife dudes, that my husband got to meet for the first time on our last anniversary up in Frankenmuth, we were able to provide memories and adventures for our family that will last a lifetime! Our adventure began with a quick trip to Frankenmuth. Sister convinced dad and brother to try The Bomb hot sauce and I certainly thought a trip to the ER was in store for sure! They got a lesson that water will not help! Our travels continued for a trip up to Gladwin to stay overnight then continue up the mitten where we stayed in Mackinaw City. There’s nothing quite like being ‘Up North’ to feed you every desire when you’re a Nature Nut! Lots of memories created for sure under the Mackinac Bridge and surrounding areas. As if we hadn’t gotten our fill yet, we headed further north to the mighty but small city of Munising. Two days doesn’t lend enough time. A return trip is certainly on order at some point. To our surprise, we ran into local homeschool friends @parkboundmaitlands at the National Park and enjoyed a waterfall with them. Our days continued with more hiking, exploring waterfalls and adventure on and off road and at Lake Superior. Be sure to check my stories for more of our adventures!
