💝Cool case today using the Inari ClotTriever. This patient had severe ilofemoral DVT with an occluded IVC from a previously placed IVC filter. She presented with acute DVT and severe LE edema and venous insufficiency. We decided to thrombectomize her clot and restore flow to her LE venous system!

🌪This device is a type of mechanical thrombectomy that uses a nitinol cage to macerate the clot and trap it in the nitinol filter that trails behind it. It requires a 14F sheath and good experience with IVUS and ultrasound access for good results! .
