It’s not everyday you see a politician on a fire scene, but I was happy to see @adambazalduafordallas at a 2 alarm in his district (D7) a few weeks ago. I got to see and hear Mr. Bazaldua’s interest in public safety that evening and that’s why I’m appealing to him now:
IAFF Local 58 has announced that there’s been a lapse in contract with the company who handles the gear cleaning/extraction for DFD. This is the last in an egregious list of shortcomings that are hurting the city and district I grew up in. Help this city and help your district, stations are full of mold, equipment is breaking down and now gear isn’t getting cleaned.
Help. This. City.
